RECYCLING REIMAGINED WITH SPLASH

RECYCLING REIMAGINED WITH SPLASH

Recycling isn’t just about waste; it’s about responsibility. At Splash, we believe the future of fashion depends on how we rethink materials, production, and impact. That’s why recycling is not a trend but a part of our design DNA.

Whether it’s PET bottles turned into T-shirts or beautiful garbs made of recycled polyester, we’re putting recycled materials front and centre. For us, it’s not about ticking a box. It’s about doing things better, because style shouldn’t cost the Earth.

Fashion Has a Waste Problem

Let’s be honest: we all love a trend. But too often, that love leads to barely worn clothes discarded far too soon. Every year, millions of tonnes of textiles end up in landfill, and a huge chunk of that could have been reused or recycled. On top of that, the production itself is resource intensive using huge amount of water, energy, and raw materials. It’s a global issue, and it’s one we all need to take seriously. But the good news? Change is possible.

How Splash Has Garnered the Power of Recycling

Splash has taken measurable steps to shift away from traditional linear production models toward circularity. Their initiatives focus on integrating recycled materials into the production process while avoiding greater resource use and environmental impact.

Recycled Nylon: A Strategic Conservation Move

Splash’s decision to use recycled nylon is a deliberate effort to avoid both environmental pressure and resource dependency. Nylon production is traditionally water- and energy-intensive, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions and overuse of non-renewable resources. By shifting to recycled nylon, Splash has utilized around 2.5 million litres less water when compared to virgin nylon. This choice reflects a broader conservation commitment, demonstrating that material selection at the sourcing stage can drive substantial environmental savings while maintaining the quality and durability expected from technical fabrics.

Recycle Polyester: Over 60% of our Polyester based collection is made using recycle Polyester that help to avoid more than 2800 metric ton of carbon footprint from the environment.

Better Denim for a Greener Earth

Denim is one of the most resource-intensive garments in the fashion industry, traditionally requiring vast amounts of water, chemicals, and energy to produce. Splash has reengineered its denim offering by incorporating Responsibly sourced Cotton and sustainable techniques, dramatically reducing the environmental burden. These denim pieces require fewer resources and are manufactured with a focus on extended durability and timeless design. The approach exemplifies how everyday fashion staples can be reimagined through responsible material choices and improved production methods.

Recycling for the Long Run

Recycling is just one part of our journey. We’re also thinking long-term. That means designing clothes that last longer, wear better, and can be recycled down the track. We’re exploring more sustainable fabrics, modular design, and future take-back programs that give clothes a second or even third life.

What you wear has power. Each time you choose from our sustainable fashion range, you’re supporting a future where style doesn’t cost the earth. Crafted predominantly with sustainable, recycled materials, every piece plays a part in shaping a fashion industry that’s more thoughtful, more responsible and made to last.
