The countdown for the Splash Fashion Paradise has begun and I must say the enthusiasm and excitement is beyond belief. I believe it’s going to be a truly unforgettable experience.

 

So, let me give you a sneak peak into the making of our Tropical Paradise. We’re expecting more than 10,000 people to attend this season’s shows, so we’ve concentrated on creating a fashion carnival replete with gloss, glitz and glamour. A massive 21 days have been spent on the production of the sets to ensure that we highlight the true essence of a tropical paradise within Dubai. Revolving around the Tropical theme, the Splash Fashion Paradise will be sectioned into different themed zones, featuring many sights and attractions including music and entertainment, F&B, fashion kiosks, funky photo-booths, innovative games, quirky lip tattoos and more. 

High on the fashion quotient, more than 65 models from across the world will take to the runway as we present the SS’12 collection — a beautiful mix of the season’s hottest trends and looks. This season we’ve changed the line-up of the shows; the under 21 Paradise pre-party sundown fashion show will now be followed by the consumer and VIP shows. The Paradise after-party will be headlined by celebrated DJs set against the backdrop of dancers, human angels and butterflies.
