Leiden Square

Planning a night out in Amsterdam? Head down to Leiden Square (Leidseplein) which is known as the center of nightlife where you can choose from hundreds of bars, clubs, restaurants and discos that would suit every style and taste.

The Amsterdam Dungeon

The Amsterdam Dungeon brings together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages, scenes, scripts, a rollercoaster, a unique and exciting walkthrough experience that you can see, hear, touch, smell and feel. It’s hilarious, fun and scary too!

Electric Ladyland

As the only museum of its kind in the world, Electric Ladyland is dedicated to fluorescent art. It houses a large room-sized fluorescent environment that the visitor enters and becomes a part of the piece of Art. It’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience, so don’t forget to add it on your to-do list.

Madame Tussauds

Step into the magical world of the stars at Madame Tussauds! Come play football with David Beckham or dine with George Clooney or perhaps you’ll prefer to walk the ramp with iconic models like Doutzen Kroes. Sing a duet with Justin Timberlake and take these memories back home with you!

Kalverstraat

Best For: The shop till you drop experience

This pedestrian-only street and its adjacent alleys and "Kalvertoren" shopping center feature a mix of chain clothing stores, dozens of shoe stores, Dutch staple stores like HEMA and chic department stores like Maison de Bonneterie. If you can tolerate the ever-present crowds, you're likely to leave this street with tons of new purchases.
