Forever in vogue, Splash strikes again with yet another fabulous fashion show. On the 2nd of October, “Splash Cafe Society” showcased its AW’15 collection connecting fashionistas through mutual love for fashion, travel and music. The event took place at Madinat Jumeirah where the top fashion elite gathered to witness fashion’s latest trends featuring the Bespoke Military and Retro Futuristic collections.
Bringing together a host of fashion bloggers, style insiders, celebrities and press, the excitement was at its peak for the season’s glamorous lines on the runway. The dress code for the show was Retro Glam, giving our guests the opportunity to dress up to the occasion. Moreover, UAE’s most glamorous celebrities attended the show. Our special guests included the lovely singer Domnique Hourani, talented TV presenter Yaman AlOmari, and Arab idol’s runner up Abdul Karim Hamdan.
Our guests were first greeted into the pre-party area that was designed as a café with heavy French and retro influences with the touches of surrealistic sculptures and a classic essence of vintage. They enjoyed premium refreshments and had some time to catch up to the eclectic tunes of DJ Kennedy, after which they were taken to their seats to start the show. The catwalk was turned into a literal runway for the models breaking boundaries and presenting fashion like never before. With our hot picks, we conducted this season’s two fashion shows. Our models looked incredible with their overall look: sharp tailoring in classic shades and bold outfits. Raza Beig, CEO of Splash & ICONIC walked the finale leaving our guests in awe of the well-executed and unique show.
Proficiently blending the best of Bespoke Military and Retro Futuristic, the fashion show made the crowd fall in love with structured looks, print on print options and retro chic silhouettes. Among the most lavish prints were the camouflage print, florals on animal prints, tweeds mixed with tartan and more.
