As the world celebrates the International Day of Forests on 21st March, 2023, we at Splash Fashion are proud to share our commitment to preserving these vital ecosystems. At the heart of our sustainability strategy lies the recognition of the critical role that forests play in sustaining our planet's health and well-being. Our initiatives towards forest conservation are a testament to our belief that businesses have a responsibility to promote sustainable growth and protect our planet's natural resources.

Our journey towards forest conservation began with a simple yet profound step - the adoption of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper tags. By endorsing responsible forestry practices and reducing the demand for virgin pulp, we took a significant step toward mitigating the impact of our operations on the environment. Today, we are proud to say that all our paper tags are FSC certified, promoting sustainable forest management, and safeguarding the forests for future generations.

 

We have taken several other steps to minimize our environmental footprint. Our transition to compostable bags made from corn starch that decompose within 180 days have prevented tons of plastic waste from entering the oceans and the landfills.

Another aspect of our Love the Forest journey is our use of certified sustainable raw materials such as FSC viscose, Lenzing Lyocell, and Modal fibers in our products. These materials aid in reducing our environmental impact, and also contribute towards creating a better future for the planet by conserving water, preserving trees, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Our efforts towards forest conservation and sustainable growth are ongoing, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to protecting our planet's natural resources. We believe that businesses have a vital role to play in promoting sustainable growth and reducing their impact on the environment.
